Wholesale Service Desk Business Retail Team Manager
I joined South East Water in January 2009. My roles within the business have included working within Customer Services, our Complaints Team and running our company social media accounts. I initially joined our Wholesale Department to ensure we were ‘market ready’ for 1 April 2017 when Household & Non Household customers could choose their billing retailer. I am now responsible for our Non-Household Relationship Team and its everyday running to ensure we provide a high quality service to Retailers.
Business Relationship Specialist
I’ve been working for South East Water for seven and a half years and on the Wholesale Team since September 2018, currently as Wholesale Service Desk Relationship Specialist. My main aim is to maintain good relations with all of our retailers. I deal with all manner of requests from the day to day individual customer technical issues to much more complex problems such as market transactions and complaints.
I’ve been working within the Wholesale Team since November 2016. My role now is as Wholesale Service Desk Regulatory Specialist, making use of my background as a Chartered Legal Executive and ensuring that our day-to-day processes are running in line with the operational terms and timeframes set by the Market Operator. I work closely with our Market Portfolio Manager and frequently attend conferences and workshops with the aim of discussing market problems, amending processes and collaborating to ensure the experience of our end customers is as smooth as possible.
I joined South East Water as a Temporary Customer Technical Advisor in 2013 for the Out of Hours Team before moving to the Day Team. The opportunity then arose to work within the insurance department to cover maternity leave. Before I knew it a few years had passed and I decided a change was needed. It was then I saw the role of Wholesale Service Desk NHH Network Advisor. I was keen to take this challenge on and have been working in this role for a couple of months now. I find it very challenging and still have a long way to go but I am enjoying the change.
During my time at South East Water I completed a Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration back in 2016.
I joined the Wholesale Team in September 2017 to help with unpaired SPIDS and progressed to doing other Wholesale Data Work, eventually joining the team as a Wholesale Service Desk Advisor. Before my time at South East Water, I worked for a bank. Before that I studied economics.
I am one of the Wholesale Service Desk Advisor’s in the Team. I started within South East Water as a Household Technical Advisor in 2017. Here I would deal with household customer water supply queries from leaks to water quality issues. I then moved across to our specialised Customer Metering Team in the middle of a busy compulsory metering programme, nearing to the end of the project, I moved back to our Technical department. A new exciting opportunity then arose in the Wholesale department which I was lucky enough to join. Before my time at South East Water I completed a three year degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology, where I completed various work experience with companies specialising in adults and children who had special educational needs and delivering sporting sessions
