When our ability to supply water becomes difficult due to severe weather events, burst mains or high demand, we review what happened, learn from it and try to make things right with our customers.

Sometimes, we create Community Funds where we donate an amount to distribute amongst good causes within the community. Below you can look at some communities and causes that have been boosted by our Community Funds.

Mid Sussex Community Fund

Charities in Mid Sussex have received a share of a £50,000 Community Fund set up following the supply problems some customers experienced at the end of 2022.

Crowborough Community Fund

Good causes in the Crowborough and surrounding areas have received a share of a £50,000 community fund set up after water supply issues in the area at the end of 2022.

Tunbridge Wells Community Fund

One Hundred good causes across Tunbridge Wells have received a share of a £100,000 community fund set up after water supply issues in the area at the end of 2022.

Maidstone and the Weald Community Fund

Good causes across Maidstone and the Weald have received a share of a £30,000 community fund set up after water supply issues in the area at the end of 2022.
