Terms and Conditions for ‘Butt in a Box giveaway

1. Only one entry/water butt per South East Water account holder/household.
2. In order to be eligible to receive a water butt you must live in Maidstone Borough Council.
3. By taking part in the giveaway, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of South East Water are final in all matters relating to the giveaway.
4. South East Water will only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Policy(opens in a new tab). See also Condition 9 b), with regard to the announcement of winners.
5. South East Water reserves the right to suspend or withdraw the promotion or amend the giveaway or these terms and conditions without prior notice. Any changes will be posted either within the give away information or these terms and conditions.
6. The promoter of this giveaway is South East Water Limited (registration number: 02679874), Rocfort Road, Snodland, Kent, ME6 5AH.
7. Applications will be selected on a first come, first served basis based off a complete and eligible application, subject to the maximum of 200 water butts.
8. If you are a successful applicant:
   1. the receipt by you of any giveaway is conditional upon you complying with any and all applicable laws, rules and regulations including, without limitation, these terms and conditions
   2. subject to condition 11 below, you acknowledge and agree that South East Water may choose to publish details of the giveaway.
   3. you agree that if upon notification of your successful application you do not respond to South East Water within 30 days to accept your water butt, South East Water shall be entitled to pick another application in order.
   4. you acknowledge and agree that South East Water, Maidstone Borough Council or any of its agents are not responsible for any loss or damage caused by the acceptance of or use of the water butt.
   5. If you are not the homeowner you agree to seek permission to instal the water butt from your landlord or housing association.
9. The terms and conditions of this give away shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
