As part of our ongoing programme to improve our water supply network, we're installing 845 metres of new water pipe in Handcross Road and High Beeches Lane, Balcombe.
We've laid a new pipeline in Handcross Road between our water treatment works and the junction with High Beeches Lane.
Work in Handcross Road began on 31 January and as a safety precaution for pedestrians, motorists and our workforce we closed Handcross Road to through traffic only.
Following work in Handcross Road, work was required in High Beeches Lane, under two-way traffic lights.
Access to homes and businesses will be maintained throughout the project.
