Fox Hill (B2112) reopens ahead of schedule following crucial South East Water project
South East Water has completed its £250,000 project to install 464 metres of new water main along Fox Hill (B2112), Haywards Heath.
The project started in April and has finished ahead of schedule, completing three weeks earlier than planned.
Matthew Cooper, Project Manager for South East Water said: “It was crucial we delivered this project now to maintain the top-quality drinking water supplies to the local community as the population grows.
“I would like to thank the local community for their patience while we carried out this work as we know road closures can impact everyday lives.”
Following her visit to the site in May, Mimms Davies MP for Mid Sussex said: “Thank you to South East Water for carrying out this essential work to maintain the water pressure and supply to the community.
“I know the road closure was an inconvenience to some and I am grateful the company has done everything in its power to complete the work as quickly and as safely as possible, finishing three weeks ahead of schedule.”
This project forms part of the company’s £433 million investment programme between 2020 and 2025.
