South East Water collaborates with Future Nature to Champion regenerative agriculture

Local land owners, farms, businesses and students are invited to attend an informative workshop focusing on regenerative farming at Hyde Farm, Maidenhead on 13 May.

There will be opportunities to discuss profitable farming practices which protect water sources and help to promote biodiversity and healthy soil.

Silas Hedley-Lawrence, a farmer, coach and consultant, with a decade of experience in regenerative agriculture, will deliver the keynote presentation, with speakers from Future Nature Land and Farm and South East Water exploring the available funding to support conservation land management practices.

The workshop will also include a guided farm walk, offering attendees the opportunity to see firsthand approaches to regenerative farming, and learn about the practical land management strategies which can promote biodiversity, soil health and protect our precious water sources. The event will close with a free lunch.

South East Water's Catchment Advisor, Mark Slater, said: "We're dedicated to supporting sustainable land management practices and collaborating with local land managers across the farming, equine and amenity sectors to safeguard water resources.”
