
Lisa Clement
Interim Independent Non-Executive Chair
Lisa became an Independent Non-Executive Director in January 2023. Lisa has worked in lots of different industries, for companies ranging from huge global companies to small start-up businesses. Her previous roles include Chief Financial Officer for Sea Containers Ltd. She was also a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee for U.K. Coal PLC and Harworth Group PLC. Lisa is a Chartered Accountant and graduated from Oxford University.

Michael McKinstry
Non-Executive Director
Michael McKinstry became a Non-Executive Director on 15 August 2024. He is a Senior Adviser at Vantage Infrastructure. Michael has lots of senior management experience. He was Group CEO of Phoenix Natural Gas Limited (now Phoenix Energy Group) for over 27 years, until 2023. Michael is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Célia Pronto
Independent Non-Executive Director (Chair of the Remuneration Committe and Chair of the Nomination Committee)
Célia became an Independent Non-Executive Director on 1 June 2018. She has a lot of experience in the service sector across many different industries. Célia is a Non-Executive Director of Samworth Brothers (Holdings) Ltd and Hostmore plc, and chairs the Remuneration & Nomination Committee at Campden BRI. She founded The Digital Success Co Ltd and co-founded Impact Ventures Group Limited. Célia has a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an MBA.

Mark McArdle
Non-Executive Director - Shareholder Nominated
Mark was appointed as a Non-Executive Director on 9 February 2022 as the shareholder representative for Utilities Trust of Australia. He brings extensive experience in infrastructure investment, with a focus on utilities, energy and essential services assets across Australia, the UK and Europe. He holds a Master of Chemistry from the University of Oxford.

Caroline Sheridan
Independent Non-Executive Director
Caroline Sheridan, a Chartered Civil Engineer, brings 30 years of diverse experience in asset investment, engineering, and capital delivery. Her extensive career spans critical infrastructure at Heathrow Airport, Transport for London (leading capital investment for the Tube and asset strategy across the network), and Thames Water Utilities, where she was Engineering and Asset Director. Caroline currently advises within the water, rail, and nuclear sectors.

David Hinton
Chief Executive Officer
David became CEO on 1 August 2020. Before this, he was our Asset and Regulation Director from 1 June 2013. David has worked at South East Water for over 25 years. He has a BSc (Hons) in Biotechnology and a Master of Business Administration.

Andrew Farmer
Chief Financial Officer
Andrew became our CFO on 1 August 2015. He has held several senior management positions in finance, including at MAG plc and Doosan Power Systems. Andrew has a BSc (Hons) in Engineering and Business Studies from the University of Warwick and is a Chartered Accountant.
